American tourist murdered in Grenada by man with sword, police say

An American tourist from Georgia was murdered on the Caribbean island of Grenada while on vacation, police say. Grenada police are questioning a suspect who turned himself in.

Police said the 39-year-old was walking along the beach with her husband when the two were attacked by a man with a sword.

The victim's husband was able to get away, but the woman was killed.

The attack happened just half a mile away from where other vacationers were sunbathing.
