NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA -- It appears the Northeast Philadelphia man accused of murdering his wife last summer is prepared to plead guilty.

Christopher Murray's public defender told the district attorney's office that his client will enter the plea during a pretrial hearing next month.

Murray first reported his 46-year-old wife, Connie, as missing last August.

But when her body showed up in Pennypack Park a few days later, he confessed to strangling her following a heated argument.
