UPenn Summer VETS program

UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- High school students who hope to one day be a veterinarian are getting some hands on training.

The students are taking part in the summer VETS program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Thursday, they cared for a group of cats.

During the week long sessions, the teens shadow a doctor and learn about anatomy and intensive care.
