Philadelphia police say shots were fired during a home invasion in North Philadelphia.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say shots were fired during a home invasion in North Philadelphia by a suspect who remains at large.

It happened before 6 a.m. Monday.

Police say an armed suspect got into a home in the 600 block of West Glenwood Avenue.

The suspect fled a short time later, firing several shots as he fled on West Glenwood.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

It was unclear if anything was stolen during the home invasion.

An investigation is underway.
