NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police have made an arrest following a home invasion and robbery in Northeast Philadelphia.
The incident happened at 11:12 p.m. Friday in the 2200 block of Disston Street.
The 46-year-old homeowner told police two men wearing black clothing and black masks, one carrying a silver and black semi-automatic pistol, walked into his home and demanded money and drugs.
A scuffle ensued, and the gunman threatened to shoot the homeowner's wife and son.
The homeowner turned over $480 in cash. His wife surrendered her cell phone.
No one in the family was hurt.
Both men fled in a gold-colored vehicle.
Officers stopped what they believe to be the same vehicle a short time later in the 4700 block of Torresdale Avenue.
The 24-year-old driver was taken into custody and the vehicle impounded.
Charges had not yet been filed as of noon Saturday.
The second suspect remains at large.
Police are searching for a white or Hispanic man, 5'8" tall with a medium build.
