Human skeletal remains found in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a disturbing discovery in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

Someone found human skeletal remains in a vacant lot in the 400 block of East Cambria Street.

The discovery was reported at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Police tell Action News it is unclear whether the remains are male or female.

Investigators are working to identify the remains and determine how and when they ended up there.
