Dog battling cancer in leg receives custom-built wagon

HAWTHORNE, Calif. -- Ike, a 15-year-old dog battling cancer in his leg, received a custom-built wagon Thursday thanks to the kindness of two Home Depot employees in Hawthorne.

Risa Feldman, Ike's owner, said her dog had trouble getting around because of the pain in his leg. When she went to a Home Depot looking for a cart to help him, two workers went the extra mile for Ike.

The two built Ike a wagon on their own time. When Ike received it Thursday, his owner said he felt right at home on it.

The pair even built Ike a ramp so that it is easier for him to get in and out of Feldman's car.
