Man becomes trapped under bale of paper, injures leg in Wissinoming

WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- A man is injured after becoming trapped under a bale of paper in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia.

The industrial accident occurred just before 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Newman Paper Recycling Plant on the 6100 block of Tacony Street.

Police tell Action News the 35-year-old victim injured his right leg while operating equipment.

He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
