For many people, their day doesn't really start until they've had a cup of coffee. But what's better than that first cup of coffee in the morning? How about a free cup of coffee?
Monday is International Coffee Day. In honor of the day dedicated to the simple cup of joe, several national chains are offering freebies or deals for those looking to get their caffeine fix.
Dunkin' Donuts
Dunkin' Donuts is offering customers a free medium dark roast coffee all day on Monday.
McDonald's
McDonald's started their free coffee buzz early, and has been giving away free small McCafe coffees during breakfast hours since Sept. 16. The deal continues through Monday.
Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme is offering a free 12 oz. cup of dark roast coffee on Monday. Additionally, customers can buy a 12 oz. mocha, latte or iced coffee for $1.
Peet's Coffee
Peet's Coffee is offering free coffee and espresso samples all day long. Customers can also buy any beverage and get a second one free to enjoy for themselves of share with a friend.
Starbucks
Starbucks is offering free samples of its Anniversary Blend until noon.
Kangaroo Express
While not offering any free coffee deals, Kangaroo Express is selling cups of coffee for 1 cent from 6-10 a.m.
