Temple white coat ceremony
A common practice at medical schools across the country, Temple University's took it's turn

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It has become common practice at medical schools across the country, and Friday it was Temple University's turn.

This was the annual white coat ceremony for first year med students, sort of a rite of passage into the medical profession.

204 new students, the class of 2020, were presented with the white coats they will wear during their medical education, as an audience of friends, family and faculty watched proudly.
