Kindergarten registration opens for 2017-18 in Philadelphia public schools

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The School District of Philadelphia is now registering the class of 2030.

Kindergarten pre-registration for the 2017-18 school year got underway Tuesday.

Action News was at George W. Childs School in South Philadelphia as one eager child was enrolled.

Parents or guardians should register children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1st of this year.
