Man involved in fight at Ocean County concert hall dies

LAKEWOOD, N.J. -- Authorities say a man injured in a fight at a concert hall in Ocean County, New Jersey has died from his injuries.

Lakewood police tell the Asbury Park Press that 26-year-old township resident Sandro Andrade Pacheco apparently was involved in a brief altercation early Saturday at Lake Terrace Hall.

That's where hundreds of people had gathered for a Latin-themed concert.

Police who were on duty at the show were not immediately told about the scuffle.

But a short time later officers found Pacheco on the ground in a remote section of the parking lot with a serious head injury.

He was taken to a hospital, where he died Saturday night.

It's still not clear how he suffered the injury, or what sparked the altercation.
