PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- For his final Philly 4th of July Jam as mayor, Michael Nutter truly left his mark on stage.

Mayor Nutter along with The Roots brought the crowd to its feet with a show closing rendition of The Sugar Hill Gang's 'Rapper's Delight.'

Making sure he let the audience know this was indeed his last July 4th rap performance as mayor of Philadelphia, Nutter ended his set with a emphatic dropping of the microphone.
