Bicyclist struck by car in Mercer County

EAST WINDSOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police in Mercer County are investigating an accident involving a bicyclist.

The incident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. Monday on Route 130 North in East Windsor Township.

Police say the driver did stop at the scene.

The 49-year-old victim sustained both upper and lower body injuries and was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.

The driver and six other passengers in the striking vehicle were not injured.

The driver did stop and is not facing any charges at this time.
