A new study has challenged the long standing belief that "milk does a body good."

A new study has challenged the long standing belief that "milk does a body good."

The study showed that milk might actually be harmful to women.

Researchers followed more than 60,000 women in Sweden for 20 years.

They say women who drank three or more glasses of milk per day, were nearly twice as likely to die in that time period.

And even more unexpectedly, they had a higher chance of bone fractures.

Scientists say that fermented milk products, such as yogurt, did reduce the fracture risk.
