Police: Missing NE Philly children found safe

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two children missing from their home in Northeast Philadelphia have been found safe, police said.

Officers were on the lookout for 7-year-old Synciere McGovern and his 12-year-old sister, Makyla Tucker, who were apparently headed to a playground on Friday afternoon.

They did not return Friday night and were reported missing overnight Saturday.

However, by late Saturday morning, police had said the two had been found in good condition.

Police did not immediately release further details.
