A 50-year-old man is critical after being struck by a motorcycle in Northeast Philadelphia.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 50-year-old man is critical after being struck by a motorcycle in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened around 8 p.m. Friday on Roosevelt Boulevard near Ryan Avenue.

Police say a motorcycle struck the victim as he attempted to cross the northbound inner lanes.

The victim was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital in very critical condition.

The operator of the motorcycle did stop at the scene, police say.

Police AID is investigating.
