3 injured in Lakewood Township apartment fire

LAKEWOOD TWP., New Jersey (WPVI) -- Three people were injured in a fire at an apartment building in Ocean County, New Jersey.

It broke out around 1 a.m. Friday on the 400 block of Prospect Street in Lakewood Township.

Crews arrived to flames shooting from a second floor apartment.

The injured were flown to area hospitals. Their conditions have not been released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
