Off-duty Hamilton Township police officer killed in crash

HAMILTON TWP., N.J. -- An off-duty police officer was killed in a crash in Mercer County Monday afternoon.

The Hamilton Township police officer's name has not been released.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. Monday on the 2700 block of Nottingham Way in Hamilton.

Chopper 6 was over the scene moments after the accident occurred.
