FBI push for information in 2005 disappearance of couple

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. -- Investigators have again turned to the public for help as they build on what they describe as new information found in the case of a couple who vanished from a Philadelphia bar a decade ago.

The FBI on Wednesday released new electronic billboard messages and a video on its website in an effort to generate leads in the disappearance of Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone Jr., the Burlington County Times reported.

Imbo, of Mount Laurel, and Petrone, of Philadelphia, were last seen leaving the bar on Feb. 19, 2005. Petrone's pickup truck hasn't turned up, their bank accounts weren't touched and their cellphones haven't been used since the disappearance.

In February, at the time of the 10th anniversary, the agency began a media campaign seeking information from the public that yielded new information, spokeswoman Carrie Adamowski said. The FBI didn't disclose the details of the new information gathered.

"We decided to do another, smaller campaign - but across a wider geographical area - in the hope of building on that," Adamowski said.

A $50,000 reward is being offered in the case.
