2 people shot and wounded in Kensington

Police say two people are recovering from gunshot wounds after a shooting in Philadelphia's Kensington section Wednesday night.

The shooting took place around 10;30 P.m. on the 2900 block of Tulip Street.

Officers told Action News that one person was shot in the back and a second person was shot in the leg.

So far, there is no word on their conditions or word on a motive.
