Fmr. Philadelphia traffic judge sentenced to 24 months

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A former Philadelphia Traffic Court judge has been sentenced to 24 months in prison for her role in a ticket fixing scandal.

Thomasine Tynes has also been fined $5,000.

Tynes was one of nine former judges charged with conspiring to get rid of tickets as favors for political insiders and allies

She was acquitted of ticket-fixing but was convicted of lying about her conduct.
