Police: Mom had 4-year-old son blow into breathalyzer to start car

A Florida mom is under arrest after she was caught on camera allegedly making her young son blow into a breathalyzer so she could drive while drunk.

In the video, you can see 4-year-old boy in the front seat holding the breathalyzer.

The device was installed by her husband, Doug King, who said he put it in because his wife had just gotten out of rehab.

Police were made aware of what was going on by a 911 call from a bartender, who thought she shouldn't be driving.

"She seemed a little under the influence as she left the bar, but I didn't know she had a kid in the car," he said.

Police say she had two kids in the car - her 4-year-old son as well as a 2-year-old in the backseat, both of whom she allegedly left in the car while she drank.

She is faced with child neglect, among other things.

Her husband says he is moving away, and taking the kids with him.
