VIDEO: Woman, 19, struck and killed in NJPolice say the pedestrian, identified as 19-year-old Tatiyana Stretch of Williamstown, was struck as she was crossing North Black Horse Pike in Williamstown.

WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Gloucester County.

It happened at 11:30 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of North Black Horse Pike (Route 42) near East Pine Street in Williamstown.

Police say the pedestrian, identified as 19-year-old Tatiyana Stretch of Williamstown, was struck as she was crossing the southbound side of the 4-lane highway.

She sustained multiple serious injuries and was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

The driver of the striking vehicle did stop and was talking with police.

The incident is still under investigation.
