KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police cleared a suspicious package found by security at Episcopal Hospital in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.
The incident happened before 7:00 a.m. Saturday at the main entrance of the hospital.
According to police, a brown bag folded with tape and writing was found by the hospital security.
The bomb squad was called to the scene.
The scene was cleared before 8:00 a.m.
There were no evacuations at the hospital.
The parking lot and main entrance were closed while police investigated.
Action News was told that most services at the hospital are done on an outpatient basis.
Police have not said what was in the package.
