Woman shot and killed in Trenton, N.J.

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Trenton.

It happened at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of Spring Street.

Police arrived to find a woman in the street. She had been shot in the stomach.

Medics arrived and treated the woman for her wounds.

She was pronounced dead a short time later.

Homicide detectives are working to determine who shot the woman and why.
