Woman struck by car in Mt. Airy

MT. AIRY (WPVI) -- A woman was rushed to the hospital after she was struck by a car in Philadelphia's Mt. Airy section.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. near Sprague Street and East Gowan Avenue.

The victim, a woman believed to be in her 60s, was taken to Einstein Medical Center for treatment. No word on her condition.

Police are investigating.
