House collapse damages neighboring home in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A house under construction partially collapsed Tuesday morning in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 11:00 on the 20000 block of N. 18th Street, near Page Street.

Officials say a building next to where the collapse happened was evacuated after it was damaged as well.

The property where collapse happened was classified as imminently dangerous by the Department of Licenses and Inspections and was being demolished as part of the City's master Demolition Program.

No one was hurt, and a cause is still under investigation.
