Fire destroys Cape May County house

OCEAN CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Fire crews in Ocean City, Cape May County, battled a raging house fire Wednesday.

The call came in around 6:30 p.m. along the 5200 block of Simpson Drive.

Heavy fire was reportedly showing from the two-story, seasonal house upon arrival.

Officials say it took crews approximately an hour to douse the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The home is a total loss, officials say.

A neighboring home sustained heat damage.
