Police search for man who robbed Old City bank

OLD CITY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police and the FBI are looking for the man who robbed a bank in the Old City section.

The robbery happened around 1:40 p.m. Thursday at the TD Bank in the 300 block of Market Street.

Investigators say the man walked in and handed the teller a demand note.

He then ran from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The subject is described as a black male in his 20s to 30s, approximately 6' tall, medium build, with a mustache and goatee. He wore a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a white True Religion-brand baseball cap.
