A man is in critical, but stable condition following a shooting in the Olney section of Philadelphia.

OLNEY (WPVI) -- A man is in critical, but stable condition following a shooting in the Olney section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 9:35 p.m. Monday along the 200 block of West Grange Avenue.

Police say the 22-year-old victim was sitting on the front porch of his home when he was shot.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the left side of his head.

He was taken to Einstein Medical Center.

Police say at least one of the bullets went through the front door and landed in the living room.

They also found a live round on the front porch of the property next door.

Investigators are checking the surveillance cameras in the area.

A description was called in reporting the suspect was a male about 6'0" tall. He was wearing a red jacket and gray hooded sweatshirt. He was last seen running west on Grange Avenue.

No arrests have been made.
