Munchkin is recalling about 180,000 pacifiers over a choking hazard.

The company determined a plastic cover that goes over its Latch lightweight pacifier clip can detach.

The Van Nuys, California, company says it got five reports each from Canada and the U.S. of the clip detaching.

No injuries have been reported.

The pacifiers with attached clips were sold for about $11 to $15 at Babies"R"Us, Target, Walmart and other locations.

They were also sold online at sites such as Amazon.com.

It's recommended that parents take the clip away from young children and contact Munchkin for a replacement or a refund.

Several styles and color patterns are part of the recall. Details are available on the Consumer Product Safety Commission's recall page.
