Batman sweatshirt suspect swipes baby clothes package in Northern Liberties
NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a package thief who is far from being a caped crusader.
The theft occurred Friday, Dec. 2, around 12:14 p.m. on the 100 block of West Poplar Street in Northern Liberties.
Police say a resident received a motion alert from the front door camera.
The resident checked his camera, and saw a man wearing a Batman sweatshirt removing a package containing baby clothing that was delivered at the front door.
He then fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a white male, short brown hair, unshaven, wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt with a Batman emblem on front, with a black shirt underneath, and dark colored pants.
