Man struck by car in Shop Rite parking lot in Lawnside, N.J.

LAWNSIDE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A man was hospitalized after being struck by a car in the parking lot of a Shop Rite in Lawnside, New Jersey early Saturday morning.

The incident happened around 1:45 a.m. along the 100 block of North White Horse Pike.

The victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital in serious condition.

Police say the driver stopped at the scene. There is no word yet on any charges.

Police are investigating.
