PEMBERTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- It took a team effort to rescue a dog that got stuck in a creek in Pemberton, New Jersey.
Around 10:00 Sunday morning, a woman was taking her dog for a walk on the Rail-Trail.
The pup managed to get away from her and ran into the Rancocas Creek.
The dog apparently tried to walk through the foam at the foot of the creek and ended up falling in.
The tide picked him up and forced him downstream.
His leash finally got caught in some trees and that's when members of the Good Will Fire Company were able to pull him to safety.
The dog was not harmed and no one was injured.
