Officer rescues kitten from car in Coatesville

COATESVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- It was a different type of rescue for a member of the Coatesville Police Department Tuesday.

Officer Mollichella freed a kitten who became stuck under the hood of a car.

The owner of the car noticed the trapped kitty and asked the officer for assistance.

It took several minutes but the feline was finally freed.

The cat is doing fine and is now waiting to be adopted at the SPCA.
