Child dies after being pulled from hotel pool in Delaware County

TINICUM TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A child has died after going under in a hotel swimming pool near the airport.

Rescue crews were called around 3 p.m. Saturday to the Renaissance Philadelphia Airport Hotel in Tinicum Township.

The child, who is believed to be about six years old, was swimming and went under.

EMS crews rushed the child to Crozer Chester Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating.
