COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Residents in one section of Collegeville were in the dark for some time Monday night, due to a power outage.

According to residents along the 400 block of Bridge Street, there has been a reoccurring problem for the past few months.

The residents also said that last year they were on a temporary power supply for two months.

PECO crews provided a temporary fix Monday evening. Representatives from the company said the problem lies underground, and the plan is to provide a more permanent repair in the next one to two weeks.

Monday's outage impacted approximately 65 customers.
