NORRISTOWN, Pa. -- Montgomery County residents will shell out more in taxes next year.

Commissioners approved an 11 percent tax hike on Thursday.

The 2017 budget increases county spending from $391 million this year to $409 million.

Officials say, on average, homeowners will see about a $66 increase.
