Two dozen cats that live in a rented room in Spring City, Chester County will have to move out.

SPRING CITY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Two dozen cats that live in a rented home in Spring City, Chester County will have to move out.

A homeowner there actually rents part of the home to the cats, with the rent being paid by a woman named Bonnie Bennett.

Bonnie keeps the space clean, and visits the cats every day.

The problem is that the homeowner is moving and Bonnie doesn't have the room for the cats to move in with her.

"I don't want to put them outside because they've been taken care of for 10 years inside and they won't do well outside, they've been fed everyday, they've been housed and because there's too many dangers outside," Bonnie said.

The clock is ticking - the house needs to be vacated by the second week in January.
