Camera captures armed robbery outside Philadelphia home

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An armed robbery outside a home in Philadelphia was caught on camera, and now police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.

It happened at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday at a home on the 7100 block of Large Street in the city's Oxford Circle section.

Video shows two men running up behind the two victims outside the home. The victims, both 24-year-old males, tell police that the suspects were both armed with handguns.

One suspect took a victim's bag, which contained money, an iPad Air tablet, and identification.

The second suspect then took the other victim's car keys.

The suspects then guided the victims away from the front of the residence, but the victims managed to break away and call police.

There were no reported injuries.

One suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years-of-age, 5'6", wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, and armed with a handgun.

The other suspect had a similar description: black male, 20-25 years-of-age, 5'6", wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and armed with a handgun.
