Philadelphia musician arrested in child sex sting in Montco

UPPER PROVIDENCE TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia jazz musician is under arrest in a child predator sting.

The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office says 69-year-old Charles Cohen tried to meet a 14-year-old boy for sex.

That boy was actually an undercover detective, posing online as the child.

Authorities say they caught Cohen when he showed up at the agreed meeting location in Upper Providence Township.

Cohen is charged with criminal attempt of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 16, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal use of a communication facility.

Cohen faces a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.
