Vehicle strikes building in South Philly; gas leak clear

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The scene is now clear in South Philadelphia after a building was hit by a car, causing a gas leak earlier Sunday.

The incident was reported around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Columbus Blvd. and Reed Street.

Officials say a Comcast billing office was damaged.

PGW was called to the scene.

There was no immediate word on what caused the crash.
