Man shot in Germantown grocery store parking lot

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- A man was shot and wounded in the parking lot of a grocery store in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 6:30 a.m. Monday at the Save-A-Lot store on Pulaski Ave. near W. Chelten Ave.

The victim was hit in the leg, police say.

He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

There was no immediate word on a suspect or motive for this shooting.
