2 injured in knife fight outside Hunting Park bar

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- Two men were injured following a knife fight outside a bar in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia.

The stabbing happened around 1:40 a.m. in the 1200 block of East Allegheny Avenue.

Police say the incident started as an argument inside a bar that spilled out into the street.

During the confrontation, both males pulled out knives and stabbed each other.

A 36-year-old male is in critical condition after being stabbed in the chest.

The other man, also in his 30s, was stabbed in the torso and is hospitalized in stable condition.

There has been no word on charges.
