Man dead after crash on Schuylkill Expressway

GRAYS FERRY (WPVI) -- One man is dead after a crash on the Schuylkill Expressway near the city's Grays Ferry section.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. Saturday in the westbound lanes near Morris Street.

Police say the man was driving a Chevrolet Envoy when he lost control of the vehicle and it flipped over.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

No word yet on what caused the crash.
