Police recover 2nd vehicle in Philly smash-and-grab robberies

OLNEY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have now recovered both the vehicles used in two separate smash-and-grab robberies.

Chopper 6 was over a police impound lot Monday where a burned-out silver Mercedes and a red Toyota SUV were spotted.

Both had been set on fire.

Police believe they were used in the smash-and-grab robbery at Boyds in Center City on Oct. 25, and a similar robbery at a Macy's in Northeast Philadelphia two days later.

Police are still searching for the suspects.
