SUMMERDALE (WPVI) -- A store owner has been charged for the shooting of a teenage vandalism suspect in the Summerdale section of Philadelphia earlier this week.

Hanglong Ing, 26, of the 600 block of Mayfair Street, faces a number of charges including aggravated assault and weapons violations.

The incident happened around 11:45 p.m. Monday at Kenny's Beer Place in the 800 block of East Sanger Avenue.

According to investigators, Ing told the 16-year-old that he was not allowed in the store because he was a juvenile.

There was an argument, police say, and that teen returned with another juvenile male.

The 16-year-old then began to vandalize the store. He then left with the other juvenile.

Police say Ing then followed them out of the store and fired a shot in the air. The teen suffered gunshot wounds to both hands.

The victim told police the owner pointed a gun at him before he left the store, and Ing chased him to the rear alleyway.

Police say a gun was recovered from that location.
