PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Even the Phillie Phanatic is a Pokemon GO player.

"The Pokemon GO frenzy has found the Phanatic," play-by-play commentator Tom McCarthy said.

The Phillies mascot was trying to catch them all Tuesday night when he came upon perhaps the most well-known Pokemon of them all - Pikachu.

Though the Phanatic tried to add the yellow creature to his collection, Pikachu proved to be a tough catch.

"I didn't know the Phanatic had an iPad," McCarthy said.

The Phantic's search for Pikachu ended when he was not watching where he was walking and the mascot bumped into the umpire.
