PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia police and fire departments took their camaraderie, and a competitive edge, to the softball field on Saturday afternoon.
They played a charity game at the Rhawnhurt rec field to benefit the families of Sergeant Robert Wilson and Lieutenant Joyce Craig, both of whom died in the line of duty.
Craig died while responding to a fire at a rowhouse last December, and Sergeant Wilson was shot and killed in March.
Wilson's sister, Shakira Wilson-Burroughs was overwhelmed by the support.
"No one's forgotten. They're still on everyone's minds, everyone's still showing support for the loss for both families and it feels good to see the support," she said.
All of the money raised today goes to help the children of both families.
